Christian Borromeo is a retired Italian actor. He made several feature films, perhaps best known for Ruggero Deodato's '' The House on the Edge of the Park'', and Dario Argento's '' Tenebrae''. Emidio Greco (20 October 1938 – 22 December 2012) was an Italian film director and screenwriter, best known for the 1974 film '' Morel's Invention''. Life and career Born in Leporano, in the province of Taranto, Greco moved in Turin as a child. In 1964 he graduated at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, then, two years later, he started an activity as documentarist for RAI TV. In 1971 he attended Roberto Rossellini accompanying him in Chile for a filmed interview with Salvador Allende. In 1974 Greco made his directorial debut in a feature film with '' Morel's Invention'' that, well-received from critics, marked him as a real promise in Italian art cinema. His second film, ''Ehrengard'', filmed in 1982, would be released just in 2002 due to the bankruptcy of the producers; from then he directed six more films, mainly literary works adaptations. Plot Interviewed by a Japanese TV crew for a news report on his latest film, Fellini takes the viewer behind the scenes at Cinecittà. A nighttime set is prepared for a sequence that Fellini defines as “the prisoner’s dream” in which his hands grope for a way out of a dark tunnel. Ruggero Deodato (born 7 May 1939) is an Italian film director, screenwriter, and sometime actor. His career has spanned a wide-range of genres including peplum, comedy, drama, poliziottesco and science fiction, yet he is perhaps best known for directing violent and gory horror films with strong elements of realism. His most notable film is ''Cannibal Holocaust'', considered one of the most controversial and brutal in the history of cinema, which was seized, banned or heavily censored in many countries, and which contained special effects so realistic that they led to Deodato being arrested on suspicion of murder.
