Central Logistics Base
The Central Logistics Base ( sr, Централна логистичка база, Centralna logistička baza) is the main central logistics unit of the Serbian Armed Forces. It is under the direct command of the General Staff. History The 608th Rear Base, was formed on November 16, 1992, under direct command of the General Staff. The origins of 608th Rear Base date back to 1953, when Procurement Base for the Imported Materiel of Yugoslav People's Army was established. The base was transformed in 1961. In 1987 Technical-Supply Base of Yugoslav Ministry of Defence was formed. Central Logistics Base was formed on 15 December 2006 with reorganization of 608th Rear Base and subordinating storage facilities of 793rd Rear Base as well as 524th and 201st Logistics base. The Serbian Armed Forces General Staff ( sr, Генералштаб Војске Србије, Generalštab Vojske Srbije) is the highest authority within the Serbian Armed Forces and a significant command entity with numerous organizaional units under its direct command. Kneževac, Belgrade
Κneževac (Serbian Cyrillic: Кнежевац) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Location Κneževac is located in the central part of the municipality. Gornji Milanovac
Gornji Milanovac ( sr-Cyrl, Гoрњи Милановац, ) is a town and municipality located in the Moravica District of central Serbia. The population of the town is 24,216, while the population of the municipality is 44,406. The town was founded in 1853. Before 1859 the original name of the town was Despotovica ( sr-Cyrl, Деспотовица), after the Despotovica river passing by the town. In 1859 the name was changed to Gornji Milanovac at the request of the Prince of Serbia Miloš Obrenović. Its name means ''Upper Milanovac'' (there is a Lower Milanovac as well, while Milanovac stems from the name Milan in Serbian).
