Campo, Cameroon
Campo is a town on the Atlantic Ocean coast of southern Cameroon, where it is the main border town for travel to Equatorial Guinea. The town is just north of the mouth of the Ntem River, that is to say the right bank of that river. It lies near the Campo Ma'an National Park. Campo has traces of German colonial heritage, most notably in the public building on the beachfront near the city centre. Campo hosts the Campo Subdivision of the Ocean Division and its sub-divisional officer (SDO). The town has road links to Kribi along the coast and to Ma'an and Ebolowa via the road through Campo Ma'an National Park. Tourism is increasing in Campo, mostly of visitors to the National Park. The town hosts the Headquarters of the National Park where entrance fees need to be paid. Campo's
Campo's Deli, also known as Campo's Philly Cheesesteaks, is a deli that was founded in 1947 on Market St in Old City, Philadelphia. The restaurant has been highly ranked for its cheesesteaks and other deli sandwiches. History Ambrose and Rose Campo opened Campo's in 1947. The next generation of the family took over the restaurant in 1975; the current owner is Michael Campo, grandson of Ambrose and Rose. Campo's Deli remains a family owned business. Besides cheesesteaks, Campo's is also known for its Italian hoagie which is made with Dilusso salami, ham capicola, peppered ham, pepperoni, prosciutto and provolone. Régis Campo (born 6 July 1968) is a French composer. Biography He studied composition with Georges Boeuf at the Conservatory of Marseille. Pupi Campo
Pupi Campo (May 1, 1920, in Havana, Cuba – December 12, 2011, in Las Vegas, United States) was a Cuban entertainer, dancer and bandleader who spent most of his life in the United States. As a bandleader in the 1940s and 50s, he made recordings for labels such as Seeco and Tico. His band featured percussionist and musical director Tito Puente and pianist Joe Loco. Career Starting as a dancer to a band at the Eden Concert nightclub, he eventually fronted his own band, which appeared on Jack Paar's ''Morning Show'' on American television from 1954 to 1956.
