Betzaida
Betzaida (born March 16, 1982) is an American singer of Latin pop music and regional Mexican music. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Puerto Rican and Mexican parents, Betzaida released her debut self-titled album in 2004 on Fonovisa Records. She first gained fame through her song "La Copa Será Tuya Al Final" which aired on Univision to promote Copa América 2004. Her song "No Te Quiero Olvidar" was nominated for "Latin Dance Club Play Track Of The Year" at the 2006 Latin Billboard Music Awards The 2006 ''Billboard'' Latin Music Awards, produced and broadcast lived on Telemundo, were held on Thursday, April 27, 2006. The award show aired on Telemundo at 8pm EST. The awards show and after party were held at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywo .... In 2007, Betzaida released her second album, titled ''Te Quiero Así''. Fonovisa Records is an American Spanish language record label founded in 1984 by Guillermo Santiso as a subsidiary of Televisa. Its former name before being acquired by Televisa in 1984 was Profono Internacional, which was founded in 1978. Fonovisa mainly produces Mexican style music. It is well known for its signing with artists such as Los Tigres Del Norte, Los Bukis, Los Temerarios, Enrique Iglesias, Lucero and Thalía. In late 2002, Fonovisa was acquired from Televisa by the Univision Music Group. Fonovisa was owned by the Univision Music Group until May 2008 when it was bought by Universal Music Group.
