Belgrade Fashion Week
Belgrade Fashion Week is a fashion show held in Belgrade, Serbia twice a year. It is the largest event of its kind in the country. Attracting international buyers and industry experts, the show has helped launch the careers of several Serbian fashion designers, such as George Styler, Ivana Pilja, Ana Ljubinkovic, and Boris Nikolic. British designer Roksanda Ilincic, who is originally from Serbia, has regularly presented her collections at the show since 2002. Italian Vogue has called the festival "... the most interesting platform in the Balkans for designers and international buyers". About Belgrade Fashion Week was founded in 1996 by Nenad Radujević who is also the festival's director. The first fashion week to be held in Eastern Europe, it is supported by local media sponsorship and companies such as Textil distribution center and Matrix hair salons. Gorjana Reidel
Gorjana Reidel (born 1978) is an American jewelry designer based in Laguna Beach, California. She co-founded the jewelry line gorjana in 2004, alongside her husband Jason Griffin Reidel. Early years and education Reidel immigrated to the US from Serbia when she was a child. Both she and her husband are former models who each earned a degree in marketing from Arizona State University. Gorjana (company) Reidel and her husband launched the jewelry brand ''gorjana'' in 2004. In 2016, the Reidels opened their first jewelry brand store in Laguna Beach, followed by a second store in Venice Beach. The 2018 opening of another store in the West Village was their first in New York City. In August 2019 they opened a store in Malibu. Daniel Vosovic
Daniel Vosovic (born March 25, 1981) is an American fashion designer and a finalist in season 2 of the reality show ''Project Runway''. Biography Vosovic was born March 25, 1981, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and raised in the nearby city of Lowell. He is of Serbian and Slovak background. He graduated from Grand Rapids Community College before attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. He also received additional formal and on-the-job training at Gorland/Ittiere in London and through fashion seminars by Li Edelkoort in Florence, Milan, and Paris. Zoran Ladicorbic (born 1947), known as Zoran, is an American fashion designer who launched his business in 1976. He is particularly known for extremely minimalist, understated garments following the American sportswear principle, in neutral colors (occasionally red, purple or blue) and high quality natural fabrics such as silk, linen and cashmere wool. Evica Milovanov-Penezic
Evica Milovanov-Penezic is a Serbian glove designer known for her fringes, cutouts and use of vibrant colors. Biography Penezic started off as a clothing and handbag designer but switched to leather gloves in 1997 while living in Germany. Noticing the limited variety of glove styles, she began creating new designs with embroidery and decorations. Penezic creates her pieces by hand, relying on traditional methods. The handmade approach contributes to the uniqueness of each pair of gloves. She had her first exhibit at a Belgrade fair and has presented collections in Paris several times. Nevena Ivanović (Serbian Cyrillic: Невена Ивановић, born 16 March 1992) is a Serbian fashion designer behind the brand NEO Design. The label is known for being inspired by Japanese culture and hairstyles, as well as African and Balkan fashion.
