Building Blocks (toy)
Building blocks (also construction blocks) are modular Construction set, construction parts, usually made of plastic, which can be assembled in a Form, fit and function, form-fit manner. Elasticity (physics)
In physics and materials science, elasticity is the ability of a body to resist a distorting influence and to return to its original size and shape when that influence or force is removed. Solid objects will deform when adequate loads are applied to them; if the material is elastic, the object will return to its initial shape and size after removal. This is in contrast to ''plasticity'', in which the object fails to do so and instead remains in its deformed state. The physical reasons for elastic behavior can be quite different for different materials. Anchor Stone Blocks () are components of Dimension stone, stone construction sets made in Rudolstadt, Germany, marketed as a Construction set, construction toy. Description Anchor Stone pieces are made of a mixture of quartz sand, chalk, and linseed oil (German Patent 13,770; US Patent 233,780), precisely pressed in molds so that they fit together perfectly. The stones come in three colors in imitation of the red brick, tan limestone, and blue slate of European buildings. They are not recommended for play by children under 3 years of age because of their small size (CE No. 0494).
