Branko Culina
Branko Culina (; born 1 October 1957) is a soccer coach and former player. He previously managed Sydney FC and the Newcastle Jets in the A-League. Playing career Culina was born in Zadar, Socialist Republic of Croatia, FPR Yugoslavia and emigrated to Australia with his mother in 1968, at the age of 10, settling in Melbourne's Croatian community. His senior playing career began with St. Albans Saints where he captained the senior team at the age of 15. In 1974, he transferred to Essendon Croatia, he had seven successful years at the club which included winning the Victorian State Championship in 1978 and the Victorian treble (State Champions, Dockerty Cup and the State League Cup) in 1979. In 1980, he joined sister club Sydney Croatia before moving to National Soccer League club Blacktown City Demons. The Canterbury Bankstown Football Club is a soccer club based in Bankstown, New South Wales. It competes in the NSW League One after gaining promotion at the end of the 2022 season. The club was formed in 1886 and was an original member of the NSW Federation of Soccer Clubs when it broke away from the New South Wales Soccer Football Association and competed in its inaugural season in 1957. The club won the inaugural Federation Cup and were premiers of the regular season, losing the grand final to Auburn. Jason Culina
Jason Culina (born 5 August 1980) is a former Australian soccer player and coach. He played in two FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup tournaments for the Australia national football team. At club level, Culina had a nine-year spell in the Netherlands, winning four Eredivisie titles (one with Ajax and three with PSV). Club career Culina began his career with Sydney United under his father, Branko Culina, before moving to Ajax, where he struggled in the reserves. The National Soccer League (NSL) was the top-level soccer league in Australia, run by Soccer Australia and later the Australian Soccer Association. Dockerty Cup
The Dockerty Cup is an annual association football single-elimination tournament, knock-out competition open to all Victorian clubs across the Australian soccer league system, Victorian football league system. The tournament is named after the former president of Football Federation Victoria Harry Dockerty.
