Atsuko Tanaka (animator)
is Japanese animator. She has been involved with TMS Entertainment and many of Studio Ghibli's works. She is a member of the Japanese Animation Creators Association (JAniCA). Animator
An animator is an artist who creates multiple images, known as frames, which give an illusion of movement called animation when displayed in rapid sequence. Animators can work in a variety of fields including film, television, and video games. Animation is closely related to filmmaking and like filmmaking is extremely labor-intensive, which means that most significant works require the collaboration of several animators. The methods of creating the images or frames for an animation piece depend on the animators' artistic styles and their field. Other artists who contribute to animated cartoons, but who are not animators, include layout artists (who design the backgrounds, lighting, and camera angles), storyboard artists (who draw panels of the action from the script), and background artists (who paint the "scenery"). ''Enchanted Journey'', released in Japan as , is a 1981 Japanese anime film directed by Hideo Nishimaki and based on the book of the same name by Atsuo Saitō. Plot Glikko is a domestically raised chipmunk who lives in an apartment with his sister, Fluff. However, all that changed when a carrier pigeon named Pippo tells Glikko about the chipmunks living in the vast North Forest. Glikko is convinced that the Forest is his true home, but Fluff refuses to believe it. The next morning, Pippo returns and warns Glikko about the dangers on his journey, such as foxes and hawks. The two are stalked by the neighbor's cat and it attacks them, but it misses and flees. Pippo thinks it's impossible for Glikko to make it on his own, but Glikko insists on going. ''Pinky and the Brain'' is an American animated television series that was created by Tom Ruegger that premiered on Kids' WB on September 9, 1995. It was the first animated television series to be presented in Dolby Surround and the fourth collaboration of Steven Spielberg with his production company, Amblin Entertainment, and Warner Bros. is a 1995 Japanese Anime, animated romantic drama film directed by Yoshifumi Kondō and written by Hayao Miyazaki based on the #Background, 1989 manga of the same name by Aoi Hiiragi. It was animated by Studio Ghibli for Tokuma Shoten, Nippon Television Network and Hakuhodo.
