Art Acevedo
Hubert Arturo Acevedo (born July 31, 1964) is an American police officer who is the interim chief of police of the Aurora Police Department as of December 2022. Previously, he was the chief of police of the Houston Police Department, Austin Police Department, and Miami Police Department. Before becoming a police chief, he was a member of the California Highway Patrol. Background and education Acevedo was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1964, immigrating to the United States at age four with his family in 1968. His father was a police officer in Havana. Acevedo grew up in El Monte, California, becoming a naturalized citizen in 1985. He attended Rio Hondo College, graduating in 1986 with an associate degree in communications. The Aurora Police Department (APD) is a law enforcement agency serving the City of Aurora, Colorado, United States and some surrounding areas. Its headquarters are at East Alameda Parkway. Michael Bennett (defensive Lineman, Born 1985)
Michael Bennett Jr. (born November 13, 1985) is a former American football defensive end. He played college football at Texas A&M, and signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2009. Bennett also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys.
