Anuradha Sreeram
Anuradha Sriram (' Mohan; born 9 July 1970) is an Indian carnatic and playback singer and child actress who hails from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. She has sung more than 3500 songs in Tamil, Telugu, Sinhala, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Hindi films. Early life Anuradha was born in Chennai to playback singer Renuka Devi and Meenakshi Sundaram Mohan. She did her primary schooling at St. Francis Anglo-Indian Girls School, Coimbatore. She then studied at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, Chennai. She has a B.A and M.A in music from Queen Mary's College, Chennai of Madras University and secured the university gold medal in both the courses. She was given a fellowship to do her Master of Arts degree in Ethnomusicology and Composition from Wesleyan University, Connecticut, United States. Kaali (1980 Film)
''Kaali'' is a 1980 Indian action film written by Mahendran and directed by I. V. Sasi. Produced by Hem-Nag, the film stars Rajinikanth, Seema, Fatafat Jayalaxmi and Shubha. The film was simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu languages, with Chiranjeevi replacing Vijayakumar in Telugu. The cinematography was handled by Ashok Kumar and soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. ''Kaali'' ran for less than 50 days in Chennai and was considered a box office failure in both Tamil and Telugu. Queen Mary's College is a government-run college in Chennai, India. Established in 1914, it is the first women's college in the city and the third oldest women's college in India and second-oldest in South India after Sarah Tucker College. Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan (PSBB) is a group of schools located in Chennai, India. The school was founded by educationalist Rajalakshmi Parthasarathy (1925–2019), Vanjulam Chari and many other ladies of Nungambakkam Ladies Recreation Club (NLRC). History The PSBB School in Chennai was established in 1958 by a group of housewives of the Nungambakkam Ladies Recreation Club. There were 13 students in a thatched shed on the terrace of the residence of the dean and director of the school, Mrs. Y. G. Parthasarathy. The land was donated by the family of the famous Table Tennis Player, Venugopal Chandrasekhar. At the time, the school did not have many facilities.
