Anja Antonowicz
Anja Antonowicz (born 22 December 1981) is a Polish-German actress from Włocławek. Career Antonowicz attended the National Film School in Łódź and obtained an acting diploma in 2004. She initially performed in theatre and television in Poland, appearing in such productions as ''Bao-Bab, czyli zielono mi'' and ''Na dobre i na złe'', before moving to Germany to continue her career. She made appearances in ''Lindenstraße'' and ''Bella Block'', for which she received a German Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2005. Internationally, Antonowicz has appeared in such films as ''Nightwatching'' (2007), ''The Rainbowmaker'' (2008), and ''West (2013 film), West'' (2013). Selected filmography References External links

Wincenty Antonowicz
Wincenty Antonowicz (May 1, 1891–1984), along with his wife Jadwiga (April 13, 1896–1942) and daughter Lucyna Antonowicz-Bauer (b. August 1 1927) were the Polish family from Wilno (now Vilnius, Lithuania) who sheltered the 20-year-old Jewish woman Bronisława Malberg (b. 1917) in their house after the liquidation of the Wilno Ghetto during the Nazi German occupation of Poland in World War II, as well as two other Jewish families including Henia and Adi Kulgan. For their heroism, Wincenty and his wife Jadwiga were posthumously bestowed the titles of Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem on September 23 1997. Their daughter – Lucyna – was decorated on June 14, 1998. David Antonowicz (born 1 June 1980) is an Australian rules footballer who played three games for West Coast in the Australian Football League in 2000.
