Anglo European School
Anglo European School is a self-governing, co-educational international academy school situated in Ingatestone, Essex. It is a school for boys and girls of all abilities, with 1,306 pupils aged 11 to 19. It was the first state school in Britain to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the first to become a Language College. The school offers opportunities to travel abroad, often on exchanges and learn many languages such as French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Italian, Chinese and Latin. The school became an academy in 2011, but still has languages as a specialism. David Barrs and Jill Martin took over as headteachers of Anglo European School following the death of Bob Reed, who was headteacher at the time. They were officially appointed in 2006. Academy (English School)
An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. The terms of the arrangements are set out in individual Academy Funding Agreements. Most academies are secondary schools, though slightly more than 25% of primary schools (4,363 as of December 2017) are academies. Academies are self-governing non-profit charitable trusts and may receive additional support from personal or corporate sponsors, either financially or in kind. Academies are inspected and follow the same rules on admissions, special educational needs and exclusions as other state schools and students sit the same national exams. Lotte Wubben-Moy
Carlotte Mae Wubben-Moy, known as Lotte Wubben-Moy, (; born 11 January 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Arsenal in the FA Women's Super League and the English national team. She previously played college soccer for the North Carolina Tar Heels in the United States and has represented England at multiple youth levels from under-15 up to under-21. Daniel "Dan" Wright is an English comedian and actor who is best known for playing Little Cook Small in the CBeebies programme '' Big Cook, Little Cook'' with Steve Marsh, who played Big Cook Ben. Marsh and Wright form the comedy duo ''Electric Forecast'', and have made numerous television appearances together, such as hosting Sky 1's ''Crash Test Dummies'' in February 2007. David Abraham (executive)
David Abraham (born August 1963) is a British media executive, who is the former chief executive of Channel 4 Television Corporation. In 1997 he co-founded the creative agency St. Luke's. Abraham then went on to senior creative roles at Discovery Communications in the UK and the US before becoming CEO of UKTV in 2007 and then CEO of Channel 4 from 2010 to 2017.
