Alexander Bard
Alexander Bengt Magnus Bard (born 17 March 1961) is a Swedish musician, author, lecturer, artist, songwriter, music producer, TV personality, religious and political activist, and one of the founders of the Syntheism, Syntheist religious movement alongside his co-author Jan Söderqvist. Bard is a member of music band Army of Lovers. Background and education Bard was born in Medevi, Motala Municipality, Sweden on 17 March 1961. After he completed his upper secondary education, Bard studied in the United States and in Amsterdam, Netherlands. While living in Amsterdam, he earned part of his living as a sex worker. Bard returned to Sweden to study at the Stockholm School of Economics from 1984 to 1989. Motala
Motala () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Motala Municipality, Östergötland County, Sweden with a municipal population of 43,717 inhabitants in 2024. Martin Rolinski
Martin Andrzej Rolinski (born June 23, 1982) is a Swedish singer of Polish origin and was the lead singer of the Swedish synthpop band Bodies Without Organs (now known as BWO). ''Popstars'' Rolinski started his music career in 2002 when he made a bet with his friends to go on an audition for '' Popstars'', a TV reality show searching for new artists. He made it to the final group, but was eliminated in the middle of the season. Career However, after Popstars in 2002, Martin worked with Anders Hansson, who was in contact with Alexander Bard. Bodies Without Organs
BWO was a Swedish electropop group, formed in 2003. Prior to early 2006 they used the name Bodies Without Organs. In Sweden they have enjoyed considerable commercial success throughout their career, so far notching up 15 Top 40 singles, including a Number 1 with " Temple of Love", and five Top 10 albums including a Number 1 with '' Halcyon Days'', and have won several major Swedish music awards. The group scored major successes in countries like Russia. Marina Schiptjenko
Anna ''Marina'' Schiptjenko (born July 27, 1965, in Malmö, Sweden) is the only female member of the Swedish electronic pop group Bodies Without Organs (now known as BWO). Her mother is Swedish and her father was a Ukrainian defector from the Soviet Union, thus her Ukrainian surname. She started her music career in the eighties, joining the synthpop band Page. The group stopped producing material in the nineties. She was asked by Alexander Bard to join Vacuum. But since this band had little success, she quit the band, shortly after Alexander left. In 2004, she joined Alexander's new project, BWO. The band is a success in Scandinavia and through Eastern Europe. In 2010, Marina, and fellow Page bandmate Eddie Bengtsson produced and released a new album entitled "Nu" after an entire decade of the band being in hiatus. Synthpop

Midi, Maxi & Efti
Midi, Maxi & Efti was a Swedish musical group with African influences from the early 1990s. Their two biggest hits were «Bad Bad Boys» and «Ragga Steady». The band consisted of the two twin sisters Tsedey "Midi" Berhanu and Selam "Maxi" Berhanu and their friend Freweyni "Efti" Teclehaimanot, all of them born in 1976. Midi and Maxi were refugees from Ethiopia and came to Sweden with their parents in 1985. Efti was born in a refugee camp in Eritrea and also arrived in Sweden in 1985. The three girls met in the Stockholm suburb of Akalla. Their self-titled album was released in 1991 and spawned three singles, "Bad Bad Boys" (#11 in SWE, #98 US), "Ragga Steady" (#22 in SWE), and "Masenko" (#39 in SWE). "Crucified" is a song by Swedish band Army of Lovers, released as the first single from their second album, '' Massive Luxury Overdose'' (1991). It was released in Sweden in May 1991. The song was written by bandmembers Alexander Bard and Jean-Pierre Barda with Anders Wollbeck, and features Barda (vocals, drums), Bard (vocals, computer), and La Camilla (vocals, bass). It was successful in several European countries, including Belgium, where it reached the number one spot, as well as Germany, Sweden, Spain, Austria and Switzerland, where it reached the top 10. In the United States, "Crucified" became a huge club hit and radio favorite, debuting at number six on the '' Billboard'' Dance Club Play chart and spending a total of 14 weeks in the top 20. Camilla Henemark
Camilla Maria Henemark (born 23 October 1964), also known as La Camilla, is a Swedish singer, actress, political spokesperson, and former fashion model. Biography Henemark was born in Stockholm, to a Nigerian father and a Swedish mother. She started her modelling career in her teens and later had her own modeling agency. Henemark started her career in music in 1985 by joining Alexander Bard in his Barbie project as Katanga. That project morphed into the group Army of Lovers, and soon Henemark, using the stage name "La Camilla", became the face of the group. After two albums (and at least one public fight) with the group, she left and began a solo career. She released several singles that failed to achieve commercial success, and recorded at least one album that was never released (called ''Temper'').
