''Obsidian'' is the sixth studio album by Australian heavy metal band Northlane. Originally scheduled for release on 1 April 2022, it was released on 22 April 2022 through the band's independent label Worldeater Records and distributed by Believe Music. Elsy Wameyo, also known as ELSY, is a Kenyan-born Australian singer-songwriter, mostly singing in the hip hop genre. Based in Adelaide, South Australia, Wameyo was awarded Young Kenyan of the Year in 2018, and won People's Choice Best Hip Hop Award at the annual South Australian Music Awards in 2019. Early life Wameyo was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and migrated to Australia with her family in 2006, when she was seven years old. Maya Cumming (born 2001), known professionally as MAY-A (stylised in all caps), is an Australian singer-songwriter from Sydney, New South Wales. On 2 February 2022, Cumming was featured on the single " Say Nothing", a collaboration with Australian electronic musician and producer Flume. Early life May-a grew up in Sydney, but moved to Byron in 2010. She moved back to Sydney age 13. Whilst living in Byron Bay she competed in songwriting competitions, and performed street busking around the ages of 11 to 14. Confidence Man (band)
Confidence Man are an Australian indie electro pop band formed in 2016 in Brisbane, Queensland. They released their debut album '' Confident Music for Confident People'' in April 2018. The front-duo and their band members have been a part of many festivals across Australia, most notably Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival. Midnight Oil (known informally as "The Oils") are an Australian rock band composed of Peter Garrett (vocals, harmonica), Rob Hirst (drums), Jim Moginie (guitar, keyboard) and Martin Rotsey (guitar).
