2021–22 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2021–22 Serbian SuperLiga will be the 16th season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment in 2006. Red Star Belgrade, Red Star are the defending champions, having won their 7th SuperLiga and 32nd domestic title in the 2020–21 Serbian SuperLiga, previous season. Start and end dates, fixtures and competition format were released on 22 June 2021. Summary Number of teams in the league for this season was reduced from 20 to 16 from last season which had increased number of teams due to COVID-19 pandemic. Before the start of the season, on 16 June 2021, it was announced that number of teams in the league will again be reduced at the end of season - this time to 14. Because of that 4 teams will be relegated while only 2 will be promoted from Serbian First League. Rule about bonus players was also changed for this season - each team now must have at least one player born in 2000 or younger in the squad for the duration of entire match. The Serbian Super League ( sr, Супер лига Србије / Super liga Srbije), referred to as the Mozzart Bet Super League ( sr, Моцарт Бет Супер лига / Mozzart Bet Super liga) for sponsorship reasons, is a Serbian professional league for football clubs. At the top of the Serbian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is usually contested by 16 clubs, but the 2020-21 season was contested by 20 clubs, because the Football Association of Serbia restructured the league due to the COVID-19 pandemic, operating a system of promotion and relegation with Serbian First League, the second tier in the Serbian football pyramid. FK Radnik Surdulica () is a professional football club based in Surdulica, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of the national league system. History The club was founded as Surdulički sportski klub (SSK) in 1926 on the initiative of Gradimir Antić, a local shoemaker, who brought the first football ball to Surdulica. FK Metalac Gornji Milanovac () is a professional football club based in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian First League, the second tier of the national league system.
