2024–25 Q Tour
The 2024–25 Q Tour was a series of snooker tournaments that took place during the 2024–25 snooker season. The Q Tour is the second-tier tour, run by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association, for players not on the main World Snooker Tour. A series of seven Q Tour Europe events were played, with the leading money-winner gaining a place on the main tour for the 2025–26 snooker season. Sixteen players – the tournament winners and the highest-ranked players who had not already secured a place on the main tour for the 2024–25 season – gained entry to a further event, the WPBSA Q Tour Global Play-Off. They were joined by players from the Q Tour Global; qualifying from regional Q Tour series. These players competed for a further three places on the World Snooker Tour. WPBSA
The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) is the governing body of professional snooker and English billiards. It is headquartered in Bristol, England. Founded as the Professional Billiard Players Association (PBPA) in 1946, with Joe Davis as chairman, it was revived in 1968 after some years of inactivity and renamed the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association in 1970. Its current chairman is Jason Ferguson. The WPBSA devises and publishes the official rules of the two sports. It promotes their global development at the grassroots, amateur, and professional levels; enforces conduct regulations and disciplines players who breach them; and works to combat corruption, such as by investigating betting irregularities. 2025 World Snooker Championship
The 2025 World Snooker Championship (officially the 2025 Halo World Snooker Championship) was a professional snooker tournament that took place from 19 April to 5 May 2025 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England, the 49th consecutive year that the World Snooker Championship was staged at the venue. Organised by the World Snooker Tour and sponsored for the first time by technology company Halo Service Solutions, the tournament was the 18th and final List of snooker ranking tournaments, ranking event of the 2024–25 snooker season, 202425 season. Great Wyrley
Great Wyrley is a village and civil parish in the South Staffordshire district of Staffordshire, England. It forms a built-up area with nearby Cheslyn Hay, Churchbridge, Landywood and Little Wyrley. Craig Steadman (born 14 July 1982) is an English former professional snooker player. Career Early career Steadman began his professional career by playing Challenge Tour in 2001, at the time the second-level professional tour. He reached the quarter final at the 2006 IBSF World Championships in Amman, Jordan, where he was eliminated by Manan Chandra 6–3. He reached the final of the 2008 European Snooker Championships but was defeated 7–6 by David Grace. Harvey Chandler (born 19 April 1995) is an English professional snooker player from Northamptonshire. Early and personal life He is from Raunds in North Northamptonshire.
