2016 Israeli Basketball Super League Final Four
The 2016 Israeli Final Four was the concluding tournament of the 2015–16 Israeli Basketball Super League. It was the seventh Israeli Final Four, and the event is held for the first time since the 2011–12 Israeli Final Four, 2012 edition. Unlike previous Final Four tournaments, there would not be a third placed game. The Event was held in the Pais Arena, in Jerusalem between 6 and 9 May 2016. The participating teams were Hapoel Jerusalem B.C., Hapoel Jerusalem, Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C., Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Eilat B.C., Hapoel Eilat, and Maccabi Rishon LeZion B.C., Maccabi Rishon LeZion. DeAndre Kane
DeAndre Kane (born June 10, 1989) is an American-born naturalized Hungarian professional basketball player for Grindavík in the Úrvalsdeild karla. He played college basketball at Marshall University and Iowa State University before playing professionally in Russia, Belgium, Germany, Israel, Spain and Serbia. College career A 6'5" shooting guard from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kane spent his first three collegiate seasons at Marshall University. Arik Shivek (2)
Arik Shivek (; born 10 September 1956) is an Israeli professional basketball coach. He is the head coach of the Netherlands national basketball team. Shivek is also the former head coach of the senior Israeli national basketball team, serving from 2009 to 2014, succeeding Zvi Sherf. He coached ABC Amsterdam during the team's dynasty years, and won three Dutch national championships with the team. Shivek won the Israeli Premier League in 2016 with Hapoel Eilat. Chris Wright (born September 30, 1988) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of Dayton. Previously, Wright played in the NBA for the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks. High school and college career Wright attended Trotwood-Madison High School and, after graduating, he attended the University of Dayton from 2007 to 2011. While at Dayton, Wright was considered the "greatest above-the-rim player" in Flyers history upon graduating in May 2011. Elijah Lee Holman (born March 22, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Mahram Tehran of the Iranian Basketball Super League (IBSL). After a brief appearance in the 2012 NBA Summer League he signed with Israeli team Hapoel Eilat, where he started his professional career. Tony Gaffney
Anthony Joseph Gaffney Jr. (born November 14, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at the University of Massachusetts. During the 2008–09 season, he received numerous honors from the Atlantic 10 Conference including Defensive Player of the Year, All-Defensive Team, and Second Team all conference. Mark Steven Lyons (born July 4, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for Al Ahly of the Egyptian Basketball Premier League and the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
