History

The club was founded in 1876 and used the Queen's Head public house for its facilities. The ground was known for its poor condition and spartan facilities. The first known game for the club was at

was in 1880–81. The Swallows beat Henley at home in the first round and lost 3–0 at home to Upton Park in the second, conceding an own goal and a last-minute third.

Successor club

A new Weybridge club was founded in 1892, playing its first match in October against the Walton club in the West Surrey League.
