Svoy followed the advice and within a year got the recording and the publishing contract, all negotiated by New York attorney George Gilbert, also recommended by Beall. Frank Cody and Dave Koz felt the same way when heard the album – they made a decision to release it on
Rendezvous/Universal “as is”. To this day, all of Svoy’s records are entirely self-produced.
