Having featured 51 times and scoring 25 goals in all competitions over 2 seasons, Plazibat had his contract with the Cheetahs extended for another season.⁣ Plazibat scored the first hat-trick of the 2020 Singapore Premier League season in his club's season opener against Young Lions, handing his club a 4–1 win.
