He is often considered to be the first to launch reality shows in Bengali television – ''Ritur Mela Jhoom Tara Ra Ra''. In reality, Black Magic Motion Pictures led by Arjun Gourisaria created the first reality show in Bengali television, ''Rojgere Ginni''.
