From 2009 to 2013, Vengu worked at the

in Paris, first as a Programme Assistant and then as Research Programme Coordinator. He then returned to Albania and served as Head of the Cabinet at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs until 2017. He was Director of Anticorruption at the Prime Minister’s Office from 2017 to 2019, and then Director General of the Durrës Port Authority until his current position. Vengu is married with two children.
