At the age of 24, when he was still pursuing his master's degree at JNU, Ram Gopal Varma who was impressed with him asked him to work as a creative consultant for many of his projects like Vangaveeti, Veerappan, Killing Veerappan; after which he got his break as the writer in 2017 for
