Miami Music Week (MMW) is a weeklong marathon of
electronic dance music that takes place in
Miami, Florida
Miami ( ), officially the City of Miami, known as "the 305", "The Magic City", and "Gateway to the Americas", is a coastal metropolis and the county seat of Miami-Dade County in South Florida, United States. With a population of 442,241 at th ...
. During the last week of March, the event is attended by hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world.
In 2015, over 1,000 artists performed at over 260 events hosted at a myriad of venues across Miami.

History
Miami Music Week began in 2011, taking place from 24–27 March, ending at the same time Ultra Music Festival had concluded its thirteenth edition. Since then, Miami Music Week has continued to grow every year, eventually becoming one of the world's largest congregations of dance music lovers.
