It was also introduced with the facelift of the
W90x Sprinter in 2000 for the 2001 model year in , and powertrains, and in the

W211 E-Class introduced in 2002 were not equipped with the OM611, but with the new
OM646 engine.
Force Motors utilized the OM611 engine in two of their vehicles, namely the 2011
Force One and the 2017
Force Gurkha Xtreme.
