Early life

Preda was born in

. His mother is a former basketball player. He began playing tennis at the age of four and trained at Tennis Club Play Constanţa. He also played basketball at Athletic Constanţa.


Junior career

In June 2023, Preda won his first J300 title at the ITF German Juniors in
