In 25 games played for Obregón, he averaged 16.1 points and 5.4 assists per game as a complement to forward Glen Rice Jr. and his 28.1 points per game. The Hawks toppled the Hermosillo Rays 111–100 in Game 6 of the league finals to clinch the title.
