He was elected as the best player of the year's Campeonato Potiguar, after scoring 12 goals in only 17 matches. In the ensuing Série B, he maintained the goalscoring rate by netting eight goals in 14 appearances.

Flamengo return

On 6 August 2015, after impressing during his time at ABC, Kayke returned to his first club Flamengo after an agreement was reached.
