Career

Harvey Norman was founded in 1982 by Harvey and his partner, Ian Norman. Page joined the first store in 1983 as an assistant and in 1999 became CEO of the company. Harvey is the executive chairman. Under Page's stewardship, Harvey Norman expanded into New Zealand in 1996, Singapore in 2000, Malaysia, Slovenia in 2003, and Ireland. It entered online sales in 2001.
