Early life and education

Yoon Jeonghan was born in Hwaseong, South Korea, on 4 October 1995. He has a younger sister. Jeonghan attended and graduated in 2014 as a natural science major. In 2022, he enrolled in a master's degree at Anyang University, majoring in

2012–2014: Pre-debut

Jeonghan was scouted by

at a subway station. After passing auditions, Jeonghan joined Pledis in 2013 and went on to receive training for the next two years. He was regularly featured on '' Seventeen TV'', an online reality series that introduced Pledis' trainees as potential members of the then-upcoming boy group Seventeen, from its third season onward. The show was broadcast periodically on
