In his career at Fresno State, Bins hit .289/.383/.465 with 19 home runs and 96 RBI in 679 plate appearances. Bins was regarded as an excellent defensive catcher in college and was considered among the best in the 2019 draft. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 11th round of the 2019 MLB draft.
