History

Ikast FS was established on 6 December 1935, formed from the merger of Ikast Tennisklub, Ikast Boldklub, and Ikast Salonskytteforening. In 1955, Ikast FS promoted to the 3rd Division and progressed to the 2nd Division within two years. The club's pinnacle arrived in 1978 when it earned promotion to the top tier, maintaining a 13-season tenure. Notably, they secured a silver medal in the Danish championship (DM) in
