Synopsis
''Cornish for 'superstition', tempers fray in Hegoledh as bad omens run rife and a shortage of fish befalls a remote fishing village in Cornwall. A stranger arrives to help, but *something* is stopping the fish from biting, and no one knows why.''

Development of the film began in late 2024, with Guy Potter writing the script as part of an MA course whilst studying at

In September 2024 it was decided that the film be commissioned separately from just educational study, and was moved into pre-production by High Sierra Films. The fundraising page was launched on

Filming
Filming began in March 2025, with principal photography taking place on the
