Coroian began football at
CFR Cluj Fotbal Club CFR 1907 Cluj, commonly known as CFR Cluj ( or ) or simply CFR, is a Romanian professional association football, football club based in the city of Cluj-Napoca, Cluj County, that competes in the Liga I. Founded as ''Kolozsvári Vasut ...
in 1993. He later went on to play for many years at Gloria Bistrița before moving back to his first team. Coroian returned to Gloria Bistrița, being an emblematic player for this club. Coroian played 7 games and scored two goals in
