At the age of 14, Moore began participating in beauty pageants.
Through her participation in the Miss Bronze America contest, she met
Kiki Shepard and her mother, who took her under their wings and persuaded her to pursue a modeling career during her highschool years,
though her height prevented Moore from pursuing a career as a professional model later on.
