Author and Consultant

Since leaving Fashion Revolution, Somers has focused on writing and public engagement around textiles and sustainability. Her book The Nature of Fashion, published by Chelsea Green in September 2025, examines the historical relationship between plants and textiles and the environmental impacts of material choices.
