Community service

His unflinching interest towards the development of others, especially, his community is known. Malam Bashir is characterized by numerous qualities of excellence which makes him stand unique and exemplary in our society. It is very rare in Northern Nigeria for a person to excel in any career and maintain the string of his umbilical cord without changing environment. In his case, from the beginning of his life till date, he has maintained his local community as his major base, where he lives with all his family. He is a detribalized Nigerian who always advocates for peaceful coexistence and harmony amongst people. He arranges and participate in meetings with various youths groups and teaches them on how to form various organizations that can meet up with national and international standard with regards to community development, self-reliance and security. He gives hope to teeming number of students who had educational challenges with their national and regional extermination results thus; WAEC, NECO & JAMB by putting in place a number of refresher programs which enables them to rewrite such examinations where a lot of them became successful. He has encouraged communities to buy lands and build schools for themselves and also encourages organs of both local & federal organizations in making such projects a reality. He also encourages communities on how to organize and provide basic social amenities to themselves through self-help efforts to complement the efforts of Government by construction of local wells, manual & electronic boreholes in various parts of
