Meena married Vidyasagar, a Bangalore-based software engineer, on 12 July 2009 at Arya Vysya Samaj Kalyana Mandapam. The couple has a daughter Nainika who made her acting debut at the age of 5 in the film '' Theri'' (2016). Vidyasagar died on 28 June 2022 due to lung related ailments.
