Parentage & Ancesotors

According to ''Shahgada Qalandar'', a biographical account of the life of Baba Fakhruddin by his nephew and successor Syed Yusuf Qattal Hussaini, Baba Fakhruddin was born in 564 AH to Sultan Syed Hussain, Syeda Bibi Fatima Sagir. His ancestors were descendants of Prophet Mohammed and were from Makkah and his grand uncle, Sultan Mohammed Hussain, was the Sharief of Makkah. Sultan Abdul Khasim, the grandfather of Baba Fakhruddin invaded and conquered Sistan from Akhahir on the orders of elder brother Sultan Mohammed Hussain, the Sharief of Makkah. After the conquest and rule of Sultan Mohammed Hussain, Syed Hussain became the Sultan of Sistan and Shahpur. Baba Fakhruddin was an expert in Quranic studies and an Islamic jurist, he also was adept in battle skills.
