The Hop Farm Country Park
The Hop Farm is a Country Park in Beltring, near East Peckham in the English county of Kent. The farm is over 450 years old and has the largest collection of oast houses in the world. History Hops have been grown on the farm since at least the 16th century. It was purchased in 1574 by William Lambarde who transferred the farm's ownership the following year to the Worshipful Company of Drapers, with the intention that the rental from the farm should be used to help fund a set of almshouses in Greenwich which he had established. Beltring
Beltring is a village in the local government district of Tonbridge and Malling in Kent, England. It is in the civil parish of East Peckham. Beltring is known for the annual War and peace show which takes place at The Hop Farm Country Park. The Fratellis
The Fratellis ( ) are a Scottish rock band from Glasgow, formed in 2005. The band consists of three unrelated members, who perform under pseudonyms: lead vocalist and guitarist Jon Fratelli, bassist Barry Fratelli, and drummer Mince Fratelli. Their debut album, '' Costello Music'' (2006) peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart and spent eighty-three weeks in the UK Top 100. In the United States, it peaked at forty-eight on the US ''Billboard'' 200. Primal Scream
Primal Scream are a Scottish rock music, rock band originally formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie (vocals) and Jim Beattie (musician), Jim Beattie (guitar). The band's current lineup consists of Gillespie, Andrew Innes (guitar), Simone Butler (bass), and Darrin Mooney (drums). Primal Scream had been performing live from 1982 to 1984, but their career did not take off until Gillespie left his position as drummer of The Jesus and Mary Chain. Hop Farm Festival
Hop Farm Music Festival was an annual music festival at The Hop Farm Country Park in Paddock Wood, Kent in England, first created by John Vincent Power of Festival Republic. After its first year it was nominated at the UK Festival Awards with "Best New Festival". It came about after a survey was conducted among festival fans with the general feeling revealed to be that they always felt the lowest in priority and importance. The survey resulted in the first Hop Farm Festival in 2008, as a 30,000 crowd capacity festival centered on folk and independent music, with a specific aim of a return to "back to basics" organisation with a no sponsorship, no branding, no VIP attitude. Tunbridge Wells
Royal Tunbridge Wells (formerly, until 1909, and still commonly Tunbridge Wells) is a town in Kent, England, southeast of Central London.
