The All Ireland Talent Show (series 2)
The second series of ''The All Ireland Talent Show'' was announced on 10 August 2009. The winner was Chloe Coyle from Castlederg, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. The second season was an extended one with more shows, seventeen in total. It was scheduled to avoid competition with UK talent show ''The X Factor'' which airs on competing channels UTV and TV3. Personnel Presenters Gráinne Seoige returned as presenter in her only role on the channel following the scrapping of ''Seoige''. Aidan Power and Dustin the Turkey started work on a new show, '' The All Ireland Talent Show Backstage''. Gráinne Seoige
Gráinne Seoige (; born 5 November 1973) is an Irish people, Irish journalist, news anchor and documentary and entertainment television presenter. A noted Irish language supporter, Seoige is the only television personality to have worked with all four Republic of Ireland, Irish terrestrial television stations—TG4, TV3 (Ireland), TV3, RTÉ One and RTÉ2—and to have read the inaugural news bulletins on three separate channels—TG4, TV3, and Sky News Ireland. Seoige
''Seoige'' is an Irish television chat show. It was hosted by sisters Gráinne and Síle Seoige and was broadcast live on weekdays at 4.30pm on RTÉ One between 2006 and 2009, with a hiatus in the summer months. Episodes were repeated at 8.20 the following weekday morning on the same channel. The programme was originally launched in 2006 as '' Seoige and O'Shea'' presented by Gráinne Seoige and Joe O'Shea. It followed a similar format to ITV's '' This Morning'' programme. Moving between serious issues and lighter subjects, content included interviews, debates and musical performances. Viewers could call, text, or e-mail the programme to give their opinions on topics. Evelyn O'Rourke
Evelyn O'Rourke (born 1972) is an Irish people, Irish broadcaster and journalist employed by RTÉ. She is the current Arts and Media Correspondent for RTÉ News since February 2024. County Clare

The Eurovision Song Contest 1970 was the 15th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Boyzone
Boyzone were an Irish boy band created in 1993 by the talent manager Louis Walsh.
