Technicolour (Disco Inferno Album)
''Technicolour'' is the third and final studio album by Disco Inferno, released posthumously on 22 July 1996 by Rough Trade Records in the United Kingdom. After releasing the EP ''It's a Kid's World'' in September 1994, Disco Inferno found themselves "burnt out and in debt; attracting little commercial success; beset by live failures; struggling against frustration, depression, internal bitterness and against the prevailing musical tide; helplessly caught in Rough Trade's ownership battles; ndstill barely into their twenties"; the trio imploded and called it quits as a band. From the liner notes of '' The 5 EPs'', written by David Howell. Dated March 2011, released in September 2011. ''Technicolour'' was shelved for nearly two years after the band had dissolved. A projected EP release of "Sleight of Hand" (backed by the unreleased tracks "Keep It Together" and "Drowned Out") was canceled, and an entire album's worth of songs already recorded by singer/guitarist Ian Crause remains ...

Technicolour (rock Band)
Technicolour was a Finnish rock band from Helsinki, founded by Jimi Pääkallo and active from 2001 to 2008. All the lyrics to their songs were sung in English. Jimi and Dingo had been playing in the band Cliché when they decided to start a separate project. Gary, Aki, and Toni joined soon after. The band's first album, ''Way Out'', was released in September 2003. The album achieved moderate success. Their second album, ''Only Shadows Dance'' (2005), outperformed the first one, peaking at 11th place on the album chart that year. The album's singles "All My Life" and "Teach Me Love (I'm in Denial)" also ranked among the top ten on radio playlists. With their third album ''People'', released in October 2006, Technicolour's popularity waned again. In May 2008, the band announced that they would go on hiatus, and in October of the same year they officially broke up. Tecnicolour's band members have continued playing music in other projects. Technicolor
Technicolor is a family of Color motion picture film, color motion picture processes. The first version, Process 1, was introduced in 1916, and improved versions followed over several decades. Definitive Technicolor movies using three black-and-white films running through a special camera (3-strip Technicolor or Process 4) started in the early 1930s and continued through to the mid-1950s, when the 3-strip camera was replaced by a standard camera loaded with single-strip "monopack" color negative film. Technicolor Laboratories were still able to produce Technicolor prints by creating three black-and-white matrices from the Eastmancolor negative (Process 5). Process 4 was the second major color process, after Britain's Kinemacolor (used between 1909 and 1915), and the most widely used color process in Cinema of the United States, Hollywood during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Technicolor's #Process 4: Development and introduction, three-color process became known and cele ...

Technicolor (physics)
Technicolor theories are models of physics beyond the Standard Model that address electroweak gauge symmetry breaking, the mechanism through which W and Z bosons acquire masses. Early technicolor theories were modelled on quantum chromodynamics (QCD), the "color" theory of the strong nuclear force, which inspired their name. Instead of introducing elementary Higgs bosons to explain observed phenomena, technicolor models were introduced to dynamically generate masses for the W and Z bosons through new gauge interactions. Although asymptotically free at very high energies, these interactions must become strong and confining (and hence unobservable) at lower energies that have been experimentally probed. This dynamical approach is natural and avoids issues of quantum triviality and the hierarchy problem of the Standard Model. However, since the Higgs boson discovery at the CERN LHC in 2012, the original models are largely ruled out. Nonetheless, it remains a possibility ...
