Socio-hydrology
Socio-hydrology; socio (from the Latin word ''socius,'' meaning ‘companion) and hydrology (from the Greek: ὕδωρ, "hýdōr" meaning "water"; and λόγος, "lógos" meaning "study") is an interdisciplinary field studying the dynamic interactions and feedbacks between water and people. Areas of research in socio-hydrology include the historical study of the interplay between hydrological and social processes, comparative analysis of the co-evolution and self-organization of human and water systems in different cultures, and process-based modelling of coupled human-water systems. The first approach to socio-hydrology was the term "hydro-sociology", which arises from a concern about the scale of impact of human activities on the hydrological cycle. MODELLER
Modeller, often stylized as MODELLER, is a computer program used for homology modeling to produce models of protein tertiary structures and quaternary structures (rarer). It implements a method inspired by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy of proteins (protein NMR), termed '' satisfaction of spatial restraints'', by which a set of geometrical criteria are used to create a probability density function for the location of each atom in the protein. Millennium Drought
The 2000s drought in Australia, also known as the millennium drought, is said by some to be the worst drought recorded since European settlement. The drought affected most of southern Australia, including its largest cities and largest agricultural region (the Murray–Darling basin). Streamflow, or channel runoff, is the flow of water in streams and other channels, and is a major element of the water cycle.
