Wendell Rodricks
Wendell Rodricks (28 May 1960 – 12 February 2020) was an Indian fashion designer and author based in Colvale, Goa. He was also an activist for social causes, environment and gay rights. In 2014, the Government of India awarded him its fourth-highest civilian award, the Padma Shri. Early life Wendell Rodricks was born on 28 May 1960 to Goan Catholic parents, Greta and Felix in Parel, Bombay. He was the eldest brother to Robin, Chester and Joel. The original surname of the family was "Rodrigues", but changed to "Rodricks" after a misspelling during his grandfather's time. He grew up in Mahim and attended St. Michael's High School in Mahim. After completing his school education, he completed a graduate diploma in catering. He then joined as an assistant director of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) Officers Club in Muscat in 1982. Dan Rodricks is a former columnist for ''The Baltimore Sun'' newspapers, and former host of thRoughly Speaking podcastfor baltimoresun.com. He was previously the host of Midday, a two-hour, daily talk show on WYPR FM 88.1, the NPR station in Baltimore, and the host of "Rodricks For Breakfast" on WMAR-TV, (Channel 2.1). After arriving in Baltimore from New England, Rodricks started writing a column for the former afternoon paper, The Evening Sun in 1979. The column has appeared at least twice per week, but most often three times per week, ever since. The column moved to the newly consolidated morning and evening editions of The Sun in 1990. Rodrick Rhodes (born September 24, 1973) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Houston Rockets in the first round (24th pick overall) of the 1997 NBA draft. High school career As a prep player, Rhodes was a superstar from the time he was a freshman. He was a three time Parade All-American, and helped Jersey City's St. Anthony High School, led by Coach Bob Hurley, win two state titles in 1989 and 1991. At one point, he was considered as promising a prospect as future NBA star Jason Kidd. College career He played collegiately at the University of Kentucky for three years. Michael Rodrick
Michael J. Rodrick (born February 22, 1977) is an American actor. Biography Rodrick was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey. During his junior year of high school, he auditioned for New Jersey's Governor's School of the Arts on a lark to get himself out of the house. He was one of twelve students selected across the state. He went on to receive a full scholarship to the Catholic University of America, graduating with a BA in political science. During school, he supported himself as a theater carpenter – often building the sets on which he would later perform. Early in his college career, he portrayed Jim O'Connor in Tennessee Williams' ''The Glass Menagerie'' and The Beast in ''Beauty and the Beast''. Rodrick Del Rodgers (born June 22, 1960) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Utah Utes and was the first 1,000 yard rusher in the school's history. Rodgers was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the third round of the 1982 NFL draft. He was hired by KCRA 3 in 1997. Pro football career From 1982 to 1985, Rodgers played for the Packers. On December 9, 1984, he made a 97-yard kick return for a touchdown against the Chicago Bears, which remains a Soldier Field Record by an opponent that still stands today. Rodrick Hill (born March 14, 1959) is an American former professional football player who was a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the Kentucky State Thorobreds. Hill played in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, and Los Angeles Raiders. After his NFL career, he played five seasons in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and still holds the career interception record for that franchise.
