Scott William Raynor Jr. (born May 23, 1978) is an American musician best known as a founding member and the original drummer of the band Blink-182. Born in Poway, California, Raynor first approached the drums in his preteens; he joined Blink-182 at only 14 years old, and played with the band for six years. With Raynor, the group recorded their first demo, ''Buddha'' (1994), their debut album, ''Cheshire Cat'' (1995), as well as the gold-certified ''Dude Ranch'' (1997). Raynor was dismissed from the group in 1998, and was replaced by Travis Barker. Since then, Raynor has performed with a wide variety of groups, including post-punk band the Wraith, and contributed to the charity StandUp for Kids. George Raynor
George Sidney Raynor (13 January 1907 – 24 November 1985) was an English professional footballer and one of the most successful international football managers ever. One of his greatest achievements was taking the Sweden men's national football team to a World Cup final, and he also managed them to an Olympic gold medal. Before the 1966 FIFA World Cup, he was the only Englishman to take a national team to a final of a World Cup. His World Cup campaign with Sweden is the best result ever for a non-national manager in the history of the tournament, along with Austrian Ernst Happel's second place with Netherlands in 1978, twenty years after Raynor's. John Patrick Raynor (1 October 1923 – 14 November 1997) was a Catholic priest of the Jesuit order and the twentieth president of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. ''Subscription needed''. Raynor managed Marquette University from 1965 to 1990, which is the longest tenure of any president in Marquette's history. During Raynor's tenure, the university added several graduate and professional programs, including doctoral programs in biology, chemistry, English, history, mathematics and engineering. Seth Raynor
Seth Jagger Raynor (May 7, 1874 – January 23, 1926) was an American golf course architect and engineer. He designed approximately 85 golf courses in about 13 years, his first in 1914, at age 40. His mentor was Charles Blair Macdonald, the creator of the National Golf Links of America, and a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Raynor was also the mentor of Charles Banks who completed many of Raynor's unfinished works after he died. Banks went on to a solo design career, creating approximately 15 courses. George Raynor (pirate)
George Raynor (1665–1743) (also known as Josiah Raynor) was a pirate and privateer active in the Red Sea. As a pirate he captained the ''Batchelor’s Delight (''or ''Loyal Jamaica)''. Biography In 1687 Raynor married Sarah Higby in Lyme CT. Ostensibly sailing as a privateer against the French, Raynor had been elected captain of the ''Loyal Jamaica'' (later renamed ''Bachelor's Delight'') in 1690. He put in at Adam Baldridge’s pirate trading post near Madagascar in late 1691 after capturing a Moorish ship, along with William Cotter. After resupplying and repairing the ship they shared out treasure from their voyage and sailed back to the Province of South Carolina. He and his crew may have captured one last ship before ending their voyage, taking a vessel belonging to Carolina plantation owner Jonathan Amory.
