Hoops (band)
Hoops was an American indie pop band from Bloomington, Indiana. History Hoops began as a solo project for musician Drew Auscherman. In December 2011, this first version of Hoops debuted with the song ''Commercial'', followed by a dual-song release called ''Avian Way'' later in the month. Auscherman recruited the rest of the band members in 2011 while they were all juniors in high school, however, they had all been friends since sixth grade. After Auscherman's solo Hoops releases of ''Rosie's Garden'' (2012) and the full-length ''Little Pleasures'' (2014), the full-band Hoops released their first tape titled ''Tape #1'' in 2015, which contains versions of ''Little Pleasures'' songs "Be There" and "Grass," the former of which was re-recorded for the release. Hoops later released two more tapes, #2 and #3 in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Following a live session with Audiotree Live in July 2016, Hoops released their first self-titled EP on Fat Possum Records. Hoops then released their ...

Hoops & Yoyo
Hoops & Yoyo (stylized as hoops&yoyo) was an animated franchise by Hallmark Cards that centered around the titular pair of hyperactive and rambunctious characters: a pink cat and a green bunny. History Hallmark artist Bob Holt was assigned to create an e-card for the 4th of July in 2001. He created a sketch of a green bunny (which eventually became Yoyo), but then drew a pink cat, which eventually became Hoops. The card debuted on July 3, 2001 on the Hallmark website. Holt eventually got fellow Hallmark artist Mike Adair to join and brought Yoyo alongside Hoops. Primitive versions of the characters were created by Bob Holt and Mike Adair in 2001, who also voice the duo, although they weren’t given their most prominent names until around 2003 (they were originally dubbed as Pink Kitty and Green Bunny). While the franchise was primarily a line of greeting cards, the characters also had a website that featured: e-cards, animated episodes, an "Ask hoops & yoyo" section, desktop ...

Hooping
Hooping (also called hula hooping or hoop dance) is the manipulation of and artistic movement or dancing with a hoop (or hoops). Hoops can be made of metal, wood, or plastic. Hooping combines technical moves and tricks with freestyle or technical dancing. Hooping can be practiced to or performed with music. In contrast to the classic toy hula hoop, modern hoopers use heavier and larger diameter hoops, and frequently rotate the hoop around parts of the body other than the waist, including the hips, chest, neck, shoulders, thighs, knees, arms, hands, thumbs, feet, and toes. The hoop can also be manipulated and rotated off the body as well. Modern hooping has been influenced by art forms such as rhythmic gymnastics, hip-hop, freestyle dance, fire performance, twirling, poi, and other dance and movement forms. Hooping is a physical dexterity activity that has been described as a part of flow arts, and a form of object manipulation. It is sometimes described as a form of juggling. ...
