Gon (manga)
is a Japanese manga series created by Masashi Tanaka. The series follows the adventures of the titular dinosaur character. The manga has spawned multiple adaptations, including video games and an anime series. Premise ''Gon'' is about a small dinosaur, named Gon, and his adventures in the wilderness. The manga makes use of no dialogue or sound effects and follows an episodic format. Each episode typically follows Gon trying to find something he wants (usually food, sleep, or solitude) and becoming entangled in the lives of other creatures in the surrounding area, with his encounters ranging from friendly to violent. The manga has very little continuity between episodes. Gon (video Game)
is a side-scrolling platform game for the Super Famicom published by Bandai in 1994. The game is an adaptation of the manga series '' Gon'' by Masashi Tanaka, about the daily life of a dinosaur named Gon. Plot Like the manga, the game has minimal plot and no dialogue. It advances the story using comic-style cutscenes with a focus on comedic situations Gon gets himself into searching for food, interacting with other animals, or venturing into different ecosystems that make up the prehistoric world. Gameplay Throughout the game, the player encounters various animals that seek to steal food from Gon or kick him out of his napping place. The goal of each level in the game is to track down and defeat a main enemy. The levels are divided into sub-stages that are connected through passageways. Gon Freecss
is the protagonist of Yoshihiro Togashi's manga series ''Hunter × Hunter''. Gon is a young boy who discovers his father, Ging, who left Gon at a young age, is actually a world-renowned Hunter, a licensed professional who specializes in locating rare or unidentified animal species, treasure hunting, surveying unexplored enclaves, and hunting criminals. Gon departs on a journey to become a Hunter and find his father: along the way, Gon meets other Hunters and encounters paranormal phenomena. Togashi originally created Gon as an ideal son but after seeing the character's backstory, Togashi changed Gon's characterization to appear as a selfish teenager due to the way he starts his quest. Gon, The Little Fox
is a Japanese children's story about the life of a little fox called Gon. The story is considered the masterpiece of Niimi Nankichi, also sometimes known as the Hans Christian Andersen of Japan. Synopsis Gon () is a little fox. Looking for food he comes to a little village, where he repeatedly steals food and creates other mischief, constantly evading the angry villagers. One day Gon steals an eel in front of Hyoju (Japanese: ), which Hyoju wanted to give to his sick old mother. His mother subsequently dies. Gon realizes his mistake and tries to make it up by secretly giving Hyoju gifts he stole, although the villagers now accuse Hyoju of stealing and beat him up. Afterwards, Gon only gives mushrooms and nuts he collected in the forest. Hyoju is grateful for the gifts, although he does not know where they come from.
