Dausa District
Dausa district is a district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is part of the Jaipur division–one of the ten List of districts of Rajasthan#Divisions, administrative divisions of Rajasthan. The city of Dausa is the district headquarters. Other important cities are Bandikui, Lalsot, and Mahwa, Rajasthan, Mahuwa. It is surrounded by Alwar district in the north, Bharatpur district, Bharatpur in the east, Gangapur district, Gangapur in the south-east, Sawai Madhopur district, Sawai Madhopur in the south, and Jaipur Rural district, Jaipur Rural in the west. It has an area of and a population of 1,634,409 (2011 census). The district is named after the city of Dausa, derived from a Sanskrit word ''Dhau-Sa'' which means "Beautiful like Heaven". Delhi–Mumbai Expressway
The Delhi–Vadodra–Mumbai Expressway is a 1,350 km long, 8-lane wide (expandable to 12-lane) under-construction (partially operational) access-controlled expressway connecting India's national capital New Delhi to its financial capital Mumbai. The foundation stone for the project was laid by union minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari in the presence of Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley on 8 March 2019 and it was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The total project value including the land acquisition cost is around ₹1,00,000 crores (~US$13.1 billion). It is expected to be completed by 2027. Bargujar
The Badgujar (also spelt as Bargujar and Badgurjar) is a clan of Rajputs. They are also a distinct caste in Maharashtra. History and Origin Similar to several other Rajput clans, the Badgujars also claim descent from the ancient Suryavanshi king Rama. The Bargujars ruled over Rajorgarh, Dausa, Deoti and Ghasira, Macheri. They were expelled from Dausa, Rajorgarh and Deoti by Kachhwaha Rajputs when they migrated to Dhundhar. Chauhan Dynasty
Chauhan, a name derived from the historical Chahamanas of Shakambhari, Chahamanas, a clan name associated with various ruling Rajput families in the present-day Indian state of Rajasthan from seventh century onwards. Subclans Khichi Chauhan, Khichi, Hada Chauhan, Hada, Songara, Bhadauria, Devda, Devda (Clan), Nirban etc. are the branches or subclans of Chauhan Rajputs. Dhundhar, also known as ''Jaipur region'', is a historical region of Rajasthan state in western India. It includes the districts of Jaipur, Neem ka Thana, Dantaramgarh part of Sikar District lying to the east of the Aravalli Range, Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, the southern part of Kotputli and the northern part of Karauli District.
