Carboprost (International Nonproprietary Name, INN, trade names for the tromethamine salts Hemabate, Tham) is a synthetic prostaglandin analogue of Prostaglandin F2alpha, PGF2α (specifically, it is 15-methyl-PGF2α) with oxytocic properties.
