The battle against poverty () was a policy of the China, People's Republic of China and the Chinese Communist Party to fight poverty. It began at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party at the end of October 2015. It aimed to solve the core problems of poor areas and poor people through Targeted Poverty Alleviation, targeted poverty alleviation within five years before the end of 2020.
